This sub is flooded with useless speculation and hate. Maybe some old Bears highlights or game breakdown every now and then wouldn’t hurt.

    I’d happily take a post where we talk about how fucking trash the coaching tree that has come out of GB has been. Hackett and Getsy are useless. Look at how well Russ has been playing in Denver now that they’ve washed the stink of Hackett off of him. Dude looked fucking broken all of last season and early into this season. I don’t think they know what the fuck they’re doing and are like the kid who got good grades on team projects by letting the smart kid (Rodgers) do all the work.

      Lmao I’m right there with you buddy. I’ve never seen an OC call so many damn screens in a game. It’s like that’s 60% of his playbook.

        Not 60%, but what’s the average in the nfl? Bears vs chargers: bears ran 5 all game and chargers ran 8. The nfl overall runs more screens

      I’ll do you one better. I do not think the offense is as QB friendly as everyone thinks. The 49ers with a stacked roster has made it seem like they can plug and play a QB and still be elite, but so far the only very successful QB’s in the Shanahan offense we’ve seen as of today are Tua, Matt Stafford, Matt Ryan, Aaron Rodgers, and Brock Purdy. What do all of these QB’s have in common? Being able to play at a high level in the pocket, have teams committed to the run, and all but Tua and Brock were vets when first introduced to the offense. Fields would be setup much better with a Greg Roman type of offense or a Andy Reid-esque where the QB is allowed a lot of freedom to improvise. Unironically, Matt Nagy was probably the better coach for Fields but we ran him out of town.

          Yeah I labeled them as very successful for a reason, I think he was more a product of the roster around him. While he was definitely a success at times. He never performed at the level Purdy is so that’s why I left him off the list. Never broke 4K passing yards and 27:14 INT was his best season with a 103 rating. Purdy’s rating is 108.9 in his career and has started 14 (played in 18) games with a 28 to 9 ratio and 3700 yards. I’m sure there’s some stats that can prove me wrong, but Purdy hasn’t been the question mark like Jimmy G was each year. Just my opinion though.
