minus-squareGuest_4710@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·11 months agoI just want 120hz (or 90hz) on base models. That’s it. Really hope that high frequency display rumor was true.
minus-squareHaunting_Champion640@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·11 months agoI just want 240hz on the pro. 120 is great but could be smoother.
minus-squareSACHD@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·11 months ago120 Hz is plenty smooth, the software needs to catch up I’d say. iOS hasn’t been performing as well as one would expect with the quality of hardware we’ve had in recent years.
minus-squareqsagmjug@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·11 months agoIf they do that there’s no reason to buy the pro anymore
minus-squareaxck@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·11 months agoThat’s good for consumers. It forces Apple to find other features to add to make the Pro worth the purchase.
minus-squareNo_Personality6685@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·11 months agoWon’t ever happen because it would cannibalize into the pro models
minus-squareElephunkitis@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·11 months agoNew features always roll downhill when the next new big thing hits the pro stuff. Happens in all of their product categories.
minus-squareShaidarHaran2@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·11 months agoI think they’d do it once they have something else to upsell the Pro displays on, like microLED
minus-squarecwhiterun@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·11 months agoNot if the Pros have a 240hz display.
