“How would you feel if the Bears got an incredibly well regarded prospect at two of the most important positions in football”

    This sub: Eh…pretty lousy…

got an incredibly well regarded prospect

I mean, if that’s what you want, the move is to draft MHJ.

He is, at any position, the most “can’t miss” guy in this draft class.

I would MUCH rather pass on Maye and Williams, even if both go on to be good players, in order to keep building the team to the point that we’re just a QB away from winning.

We are WAY more than a single QB away from winning. Winning more games? Sure, a QB away. Winning a Super Bowl? We’re a lot more than just a QB away.

      He’s not. That’s the problem.

He was “generational talent” up until he played a tough team……annnd the next time he played a tough team. He looks like nfl material in that a desperate team should give him a go. Very seriously his best asset right now is the lack of other prospects in his draft class.

Williams is undersized & when he plays good competition he’s very underwhelming to say the least. Plus remember, Lincoln Riley made Baker Mayfield & Kyler Murray look like superstars too in college 🤷🏼‍♂️

Trade that #1 pick to whoever’s at #3, either Pats or Cards as both will pry want a QB & grab their 1st rd pick next year & possibly their 2nd rd pick this year then take MH jr at #3 & the LT at #5
