Detroit will be a tough match up because they have pass rushers, good run D, and will be playing with the lead most likely.
Minnesota’s aggressive blitzing gave Fields trouble.
Cleveland is the toughest defense the Bears will play all year.
Atlanta and Green Bay have top 10 pass defense and Arizona is #11 in pass defense.
Fields best chance to put up a good performance will be next week against Detroit but we still don’t know how healed his thumb is yet. After the 2 Detroit games it’s a rough 4 games to close out the season.

I love how this fanbase hates their QBs — Bagent has been mediocre at best. Fields has been good at best. You all want another QB in the draft so you can build him up and tear him down too when the organization fails him like it’s failed everyone before them. The oline hasn’t been healthy in any of Fields starts this year. Hell, Whitehair sucked so bad against MN, he was benched as soon as Bagent came in. He should have been benched much earlier. I can’t predict how Fields will play with the oline cooking, but I certainly like his chances to do well with Jones, Jenkins, Patrick, Davis and Wright compared to the shit he had to deal with.

Listen I’m a Fields support but even I can’t buy “flashes earn a 4th and 5th year.” I think he is on this team next year one way or another. After that it’s anyone guess.
