Don’t fire Eberflus mid season. He is a great coach for a tanking team. Fire him at the end of the season.

Literally who would they replace him with?

He is the defensive coordinator so not only would you be firing the head coach you be firing the defensive coordinator.

And I think we all kind of agree that Luke getsy sucks too.

They literally can’t fire the head coach. Not without getting an entirely new coaching staff in there at the same time and there’s no way you can do that mid season. You only fire your head coach. If you’re just going to let your defensive coordinator or your offensive coordinator assume the head coach role. But you cannot do that here because they would need a new defensive coordinator

Bagent has won us 2 out of our 10 games this season. Say what you will about the opposition but he is a solid back-up. Looking forward to Fields in 10 days but he has to step up.

We played possibly the worst team in the nfl without all their best players on defense and almost lost. Let’s not overreact. Fire the coaching staff.

Game manager QBs won’t get you anywhere in the modern NFL please stop praising Bagent for not turning the ball over as if he did something impressive tonight. They barely beat the worst team in the league. I do think he has potential as a backup but for the love of God let’s get Fields back out there and start putting up 30 points again and see how the team looks against better teams now that the defense is healthy and maybe picking up some steam

“Bagent can’t throw more than 10 yards! Why is Getsy’s play calling so conservative?! Is he stupid?!”

Getsy’s offense is so depressing. Even when the plays are working, we move the ball at such a snail’s pace that we never even get close to the red zone.

Y’all, I just read multiple takes that said we would have lost the game if Fields started and I just have one question for those people: How do you enjoy watching football when you don’t understand the game at all?

    Serious.

We have not seen the last of Bagent on a NFL field, perhaps even in a Bears uniform. I think he’s here for the duration of his contract, I wouldn’t be so quick to dump a backup. Stability is good.

I am excited to have Justin back for this stretch against division rivals. This franchise needs a decisive answer on him by the end of the season, and we aren’t getting that with him on the sideline. These are going to be the three most important games of his life.

My main takeaway from that game, especially after they showed the panthers owner in the box was that the panthers GM is so fired

Feels like Bagent was playing very tight this game and focused on not throwing interceptions instead of making plays. Same thing we see with Fields by the way. The conservative approach helped us win this game, but makes you wonder if Eberflus is coaching his QBs to be too tight.
