I wish I was able to build stuff like this! No, it’s a cheap Chinese music player I got from aliexpress.

I have the same one and I really like it! How many albums have you on it so far?

I like the cassette animation too. I enabled the album art display for a while but went back to the animation instead in the end.

    It can display lyrics too.

I don’t know how many album specifically, but I have around 5500 .flac songs that take up around 220 GiB.

Snowsky Echo Mini. It’s a cheap music player with really good sound quality. It’s also got a pass-through mode if you want to use it as a USB-C dongle.

It seems to be that thing: https://www.androidcentral.com/accessories/audio/fiio-m21-this-digital-audio-player-is-uniquely-brilliant

      $300, way too expensive though.

Nono, this is the Fiio Snowsky Echo Mini - a tiny cheap mp3 player with a retro style. I have one, it’s around 60$-70$

Thanks! The thing even does a little spinning animation while there’s music playing. Who needs a cover art display when you can look at a cassette tape instead?
