Sure, just google iTunes for windows and install it.
After that connect the iphone to your pc and it will show up in itunes and then press backup, I suggest using password protected backup because that will backup everything ( it will explain that when you do your first backup)
Also, if you wil backup to external drive, there is a trick, just google that.
Itunes backup is amazing. I restored backups several times and it is like EVERYTHING as it was. Just restored as if nothing had happened. It is a life saver
And about apple and Google, they are both as bad.
On Android which should be open, you can’t access all app data folder when connected to pc, thus its impossible for any pc suite to backup your device unless you root your device which I am not smart enough to know what security risks that brings.
I thought that data folder for apps wil show up on pc, but after copying the data folder I had 8gb only while in reality it is occupying more than 90 gb. So even as someone who is somewhat techy I just feel like I should buy a phone with more storage and it pisses me that more and more android phones don’t have micro sd card.
Oh, and to copy your data from android, you have to deal with mtp or media transfer protocol which all android devices uses and after going ina rabbit hole I found out that it is an old deprecated protocol filled with bugs and issues. And that why there is no third party backup software because mtp don’t give you proper access for full control file management.
So Android sucks as much as iPhone.
I use both android and Iphone and I like iphone more. Like right now, my Samsung phone storage is almost full and when I check what is consuming all that storage it shows app as 50 something gb and OTHER as 60 something gb. It was confusing to navigate and when you try to get google something it is hard to find something related to Samsung particularly and your model ( i assume but I am not sure it seems the ui for high end samsung phones is different than lower end)
But with iphone it is just ios version.
And it is easy to find which app is consuming more storage.
And I also like that I can give access to selected photos but on android it is all or nothing.
Google must make an ITunes alternative, I get that they want google Cloud backup but not everyone can afford it or is comfortable with cloud backup.
I am genuinely worried that apple will ditch ports and will ditch itunes backup for apple cloud.

Sorry about the rant.
