For me, it’s about if it fits my lifestyle and making each phone last as long as possible (iOS updates, app support, etc)
The iPhone SE 2016 held up for 4 years with a battery replacement. Held up another 2 years after that.
I got the 13 Mini because I had saved up enough to buy it and I’ve been waiting awhile for a compact modern phone. This phone will last me 6 years easily.
Features have never been a big thing for me.
