time for poles to crack the piggy bank and pay JJ go get Sweat before someone else does. Look at getting Burns or Hunter in as another LB

also time to change defensive scheme - 4-3 isn’t working with a shit line. Go to 3-4 pick up an end and LB so we can play faster. It’s a front four can’t create pressure on their own change the scheme

Anyone who defends Ryan Poles at this point after refusing to extend either Roquan or Jaylon at this point despite their level of play and our HEAPS fo cap space? I don’t know what the fuck to tell you.

Roquan I can somewhat understand, ILB isn’t a huge priority in today’s NFL so that is potential money you can put to higher priority positions…like CB 😅.

Idk how you trade away a young proven corner just hitting his prime when your other DBs include Stevenson and Elijah Hicks, along with Eddie “Foot - DNP” Jackson.

But that’s why it’s even more infuriating. If ILB wasn’t a priority, why did we sign Edmunds?

As much as I like JJ this wouldn’t even be in the top 5 of worst Poles moves. I’d be happy with a late first for him.

That’s not a defense of trading him, it will still hurt. But some of y’all just haven’t been paying attention to the disaster he’s turned the Bears into.

If Poles pulls off a late 1st round pick for Jaylon are you changing your mind about this? I mean a 1st round pick for a never has been pro bowler

This may be a dumb question but I genuinely think there is answer I am unaware of. Why would the bears trade a second for sweat when they could just pay him next offseason? They’re going to have to pay him next season anyways? Is there a premium they can offer him if he’s already on the team?

Spiegel is cool but I’m not a fan of Danny Parkins. He rarely has anything insightful to say and his personality is bland as hell.

People are getting way too worked up over this shit. Why not let things play out? We have 2 1sts next year. We’re not even sure if Sweat won’t sign an extension. Just slow your roll until all the doomsday scenarios you made up in your head happen.
