That’s kind of like saying all of Europe is hyper inbred because the Habsburg’s existed. Precolonial United States and Canada were actually really kick ass and culturally diverse. We’re even finding out that a huge portion of the “untamed lands” that we cut down for crops were effectively curated foraging gardens that could feed thousands with next to no upkeep and were socially available for everyone.
