Daniel Jones’ neck injury has caused significant weakness in his left (non-throwing) arm, leading the New York Giants to be cautious with the return of its franchise quarterback, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero report.
If you read then article it says the strength is returning and they need to let it fully heal before he comes back, but isn’t seen as season ending. So it sorta sounds like they have a solid plan
Timeline for severe cervical radiculopathy can vary significantly though. Some people can heal up real fast in a few weeks with no residual issues. some people need surgery or they end up never being able to use their left side.
Had a few pretty bad herniated discs and nerve damage. Went from doing 50 push-ups to 5 because my left side was so weak. After 3 or 4 months I could do 20. Got to my maximum after about a year and can do 40 on a good day. Left side is still weaker than my right and will never recover. Hope he doesn’t have permanent damage.
Similar in that my right arm is weaker than my left after a minor spinal fracture and surgery. No damage to my arm just numbness and weaker. My bench press is fairly pitiful considering right arm is mostly there to balance out the bar for my left.
The medical team should be taking this out of his or the team’s hands. He needs to be shut down for the season.

If you read this as a non-diehard you would see it comes off as insanity. It’s not his wrist.
“They” in this case means people who don’t actually care about Daniel Jones, only his availability to play.
