I’m asking because I tried Sync but it’s paid, has ads, trackers, mentions Google and Amazon in its privacy policy which was a big red flag for me.

I’m using Sentry for crash tracking. However you can opt out. Otherwise no (non-local) trackers/data collection.

While not optimal and something that should ideally be fixed, it’s not really ironic.
It’s like saying that it’s ironic that an offline software needs to be downloaded from a website.
