As a matter of fact, it wouldn’t be wrong to start calling him Hieronymus “Butt Stuff” Bosch.

As I understand it, there are actual brain regions measured by science, specifically designed to detect imagery of faces and phalluses… part of why we can see both things almost anywhere we look.

But… I strongly suspect there’s a buttocks / boobies analogue. Why? Well, for one thing, a leading theory as to why womens’ breasts in sapiens ballooned so dramatically to resemble something like buttocks was because yeah, that was a major source of male attraction to women. And of course, not to be outdone, women evidently selected men with larger and larger phalluses over the generations, a swift departure from the other ‘great apes,’ whose units are tinier, by comparison.

Now where did I first learn all this? College biology and genetics, of course. 😅
