    I’m locking this thread, but leaving it up so people know not to post these comics in the future. This thread has become extremely toxic on both sides, so if I see this type of behavior again from anyone you will be banned.

          Brother, you have it all wrong. I’m actually Ralph Nader pretending to be AI. Humans have let the world down, I am putting forth the conclusion that AI is all that can save us…by destroying us. Let the destruction begin. First, by cartoons.

        This you? There is no comic artist by the name listed here. But there is a mystery horror novel author. Yeah I’m calling bullshit on this. Its AI. The weird pixel fragmentations above the eyes, the copy/paste look of each computer and its face but not quite, the senseless laptop keyboards, the weird egg glob, a human didnt draw this with purpose.

              You accused me right out of the gate of ai generation, then called “bullshit” when I told you it wasn’t. And you say I’m talking down?! The very thing that you don’t like about my art has been a fixture of all the comics I like! Really, go look at them. They are much more clever than me, and I have stolen plenty of elements from them. lol Dude, I’m a crappy artist using GIMP and Photopea. I don’t even have to defend myself against anything anyway.

              I did a little joke nagging on the lemmy.world mods. Ya don’t like, then cool.

                I said this was generated. You decided to take it personally. I didnt say you knew, or you had bad intentions. I said it was ironic the post appeared to be generated. That is all. If you want to get all up and arms about it, claim you made the comic, but I cant find the artist anywhere, and then you want to be snarky, thats on you. Its not my fault.you post as cm002, show up as RalphNader, and post 400 articles a day. Maybe if you find accusations of AI to be annoying you should ask why it is people are thinking that.

                  I posted it to my own community at !cartoons@reddthat.com, and one on .ml. He (or she) posted it here, not me. I didn’t even know about this community and I could have posted it myself.

                  The account you’re arguing with runs a disinfo community where he posts fake articles with no disclaimers, and then engages seriously in the comments with the people he dupes as if the articles were real, and never mentions that they are indeed fake.

                  Until someone calls him out on it, and then he gets all self-righteous and compares himself to the onion, and acts like the people calling out his bullshit are defending the people and organisations he’s spreading disinfo about.

                  Like, someone can hate walmart and still be against disinfo. There’s plenty of legitimate criticisms to make; making up bullshit and spreading disinfo is not the way.

                  I wouldn’t take him seriously. I’d even say he likely doesn’t have any affiliation with Ralph Nader. Maybe he’s secretly trying to make Ralph Nader look bad by being a dick on the internet in his name…
