treason? betrayal? my brother in Christ, Ukraine already signed a peace declaration, that NATO objected to. The war is still going on because NATO blocked peace.

also LOL at that use of “tankie”, literally means nothing to liberals now. Just a fill-in-the-blank insult for anyone they don’t like.

I actually really like how over saturated this word has become. “Tankie” has become yet another meaningless buzzword that is applied to literally anyone. The actual meaning will be long forgotten (assuming it hasn’t been already) and it will just be yet another “I want to use a stronger word but must appear civil” kind of word.

I’m fairly suspicious that there’s a psyop online where anytime a word or phrase begins to tug at the empire’s mask it is routinely used in nonsensical and flat out backwards ways until people start to tune it out.

People who don’t exactly know the meaning of words like imperialist might have thought they had a general sense but then they see it used in so many conflicting contexts that they might assume it doesn’t mean what they thought.

On the other hand there are those people who neither know nor care what words mean but are more than willing to wrongly use any word that they think has some weight. When enough of them do this then the word or phrase has lost meaning because others get tired of yelling into the void that it doesn’t mean what they’re intending it to mean.

Eventually people avoid those words and phrases altogether because it starts fights even with people who do understand them because nobody trusts that anyone else understands anymore.

This seems like a general pattern that repeats pretty often, and not even just online. It somehow bleeds into everyday life too which is even more exhausting.

If it actually has some impact it would be good to finally see the war end. On the other side, I don’t know how I feel about US taking the credit for negotiations and “ending the war”.

Also, has the looming debt crisis, de-dollarization etc. pushing US to broker peace or is it something else? It should be embarrassing for them to talk about negotiations when they have been so vocally against it.

It doesn’t matter. Liberals will find a way to give the credit to the US or NATO no matter what the mainstream narrative ends up being. The important thing is for the bloodshed to end.
