    I’m a straight dude but had gay friends, I used to go to connections 15 years ago it was a great. I moved since around then and have grown up so I can’t say much else, I had no idea it was running that long and figured it had probably closed like so many others. I miss The Rise. Lol.

      I never spent as much time as I’d’ve liked at Connections they were always fun nights. But i’m straight as well so maybe thats for the better, i remember a gay friend having a mild gripe about not having enough safe spaces.

      Oh man, i’m glad the Rise closed, that place was a mess. Loved it! But it was a mess!
