Oof, I just lost the body of my post I’d been working on for the past hour. (this one’s from the “Soda” series, specifically T13 “Pasteur Sanglant”)

Daggit, not sure if it was due to accidentally bringing up a new site, or accidentally paging back via Firefox browser in the same tab session. In any case, and unlike Reddit, I wasn’t warned in any way that I was about to lose my work, and yes-- this is my own damn fault for not composing first in Notepad++, but… well, there we are, I guess.

!&!@)&(!@#@!#*

Yes-- I still thoroughly agree with the need to move ourselves off of predatory platforms such as Reddit, but this also highlights to me why it can be kinda back-breaking in certain ways, along the lines.

Bah, oh well…

In any case, my classic ‘self-cheering-up’ music stream remains NASA’s moon missions dialog, combined with ambient music. Such awesomeness… (maybe someone else might enjoy)

Oof, I just lost the body of my post I’d been working on for the past hour.

Oh, I’m sorry, that’s infuriating. :-( It’s happened to me too often on various websites, and now I always write in a text editor (or if it’s a short text and I’m on the computer, I’ll write it on the website but use Ctrl+C regularly so as to “backup” it in my clipboard history — unfortunately I haven’t found a way to get a clipboard history on my current phone).

I remember reading and enjoying the first volumes of Soda in my middle school library (I think?), but I haven’t reread them since. Maybe I should give it a try.

Thanks, TM. Are you reading any particular BD these days?

Most of what I’d written in the lost post was about Soda, and what other series were similar. I’ll have to remake that post sometime, but for now I guess I might say that it’s on the level of maybe Natacha and Gil Jourdain. Similar art style, quality of plotting, and level of suspense, although each one had a different theme.
