I keep trying to get my husband to stop checking Reddit and sign up for an alternative and in the meantime I’m sending as many awesome posts from them as I can 😂
I know he will reconsider sometime.

I just brought Lemmy up at the BBQ I went to last night. One person was interested! The rest looked at me like I had three heads though…
Most of my mates don’t even understand Reddit, I’m not going to waste my energy trying to explain Lemmy / the fediverse to them.
A friend of mine think is a cult and I’m a voicer… She is cool with that though.
My other has been out of town, and wait until she sees what replaced the reddit doomscroll.

Yup, this is me. She will probably eventually migrate over once the things she’s following are on here as well. It’ll be a matter of time I’m sure.
Like with myself, she’s learned to ignore unrecognized input as long as it sounds generally positive.
