Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tells i24 he feels he is on a “historic and spiritual mission,” and that he is “very” attached to the vision of Greater Israel, which includes areas slated for a future Palestinian state and possibly also areas that are part of present-day Jordan and Egypt.

Fuck Netanyahu in the ass with a smart bomb.

Genocide through bombardment is the same as genocide through a gas chamber.

Fuck Israel. “Never again,” my ass.

Committing genocide to steal land that’s going to get its shit rocked by climate change and probably be borderline uninhabitable wasteland in 30 years.

The irony is that all this military action that they are waging is only making it worse.

    This is actual fucking madness.

Also, the fact that the ultra orthodox don’t fight, don’t study anything but the Torah, and breed like rabbits, is going to gut the army, and populate Israel with an ignorant defenseless population.

Israel is doomed. The sad part is that it is dragging millions down with them.

As an Egyptian I would be thrilled if Israel tried to invade. Even our Zionist stooges wouldn’t be able to ignore that.

Sure, he just doesn’t define specific interpretation of that greater Israel. Obviously for him it’s endless retention of power by any means possible, while avoiding any responsibility.

I don’t think Hamas is very fond of the guy starving and murdering them. I know it’s fashionable on Lemmy to portray them as Machiavellian actors who only care about power, but like these are living, breathing people too and nobody enjoys getting carpet bombed.

      Edit: I misunderstood that.

It’s a gross sentiment to still see when we are years into a genocide. No different from pinning blame on Jewish resistance fighters under Nazi Germany.

Not the same thing. Israel is definitely in the wrong for committing genocide but antisemitism is still real and a lot of people have it.

I mean, every resistance organization in history hated the absolute guts of the people oppressing them. It’s technically a bad thing, but it’s also unavoidable. Irish paramilitaries during the Troubles tended to hate the shit out of Protestants for example, and I’d bet good money plenty Jewish resistance fighters hated Germans as an ethnic group. It’s unfortunately a very natural human reaction and in no way unique to Palestinians.

You’re the one that is conflating resistance against the exterminationist ideology that is Zionism to genuine antisemitism.
