If only that would do something. It’s good he’s at least going through the motions, but I’m doubtful this will do anything more than generate headlines. Then again maybe a miracle will occur and Trump will have pissed off enough Republicans to make this actually stick.

Republicans pay lip service to morality, but they will always, always fall in lockstep behind the party line. This won’t pass.

Even if many individual GOP members of the house morally know it is the right thing to do, they will pragmatically choose to condemn the action instead because they are A) bribed B) blackmailed and C) threatened with violence D) all of the above.

headlines meant to distract while trump continues to support war and genocide.

      nothing will or can change.

Despair asserts omniscience, and eventually fulfills itself. Don’t fall victim to it; that’s what the fascist playbook requires.

I appreciate you. I myself struggle with that so often nowadays, exhausted with the world and just wanting to be cynical. But the other commenter is right, that just furthers the fascists’ fuckery, and it’s important that we remain positive and don’t give in to despair

how? our leaders suck. our gov supports genocide and war. our corporations own every bit of logistics and governance they can, more and more each day.

i’m just waiting to sleep and then wake and then repeat while being told my extraordinary performance meets expectations and then eventually I’ll die.

The article of impeachment failed miserably. So many Democrats voted Nay. It was a complete waste of time.

It’s okay if this fails. It’s okay if Republicans block this. The true crime is not trying constantly to impeach him … besides, it’s not like Dems are doing anything else.
