Omori’s most positive ending messed with my emotions. It’s really unusual for fiction to evoke strong emotional responses in me, let alone physical ones, but I legit had knots in the stomach through the last few hours. It’s a masterclass of manipulation, and what I think this specific type of RPGs, that I find moribund writing-wise, should take inspiration from.
