Would you want to know about this if you were planning to have this person live on your property? What an absolute nightmare.

    Yeah that’s pretty crazy. Day one of the tennancy they were verbally attacking the landlord.

    But onn a tangent, this stood out to me:

    Carrie Metcalfe, a property manager and company owner at iRentProperty, said property managers had systems that would help them to avoid problem tenants.

    Her business only accepted references from professional property managers, for example: “It seems to be much more reliable when we work in an industry-specific way.”

    This company doesn’t accept any tennants who don’t have a reference from a professional property manager? Is that common? It seems a little insane to me.
