I think they’re adding in a way to change how your character looks, like a magic mirror or something, maybe more shit (here’s hoping for the rest of the classes/spells/races from 5e!!). But as of right now, mostly bugfixes, and when a game is 100+gb there’s gonna be a few bugs.
One of the bugs might be why Minthara is missing so much content compared to the rest. Or it was cut. If it it was cut for time I could easily see them finishing it for the anniversary update.
try to not spoil me with too much as i just got to act 2 (60 hours played btw). but i have read things about people saying the later chapters seem bare in comparison to the earlier content.
I’m 80 hours in and just got to where a familiar face shows up in act 2.
A lot of people on the subreddit are complaining about Minthara basically having no dialogue during long rests and those are the top two hypotheses as to why.
I think there’s less long rest dialogue if you long rest a lot in act 1 since there’s a finite amount of it to spread around (basically the camp dialogue equivalent of rushing through as a byproduct of using that mechanic as the “flow regulator”).
I’ve also heard Halsin isn’t as fleshed out (figuratively only ofc) outside the romance since he was added as a companion late in early access due to fan horniness lathing it into existence. This follows, havnt heard a peep from him since the camp party.
i think there is definitely some issue with Timing. i’ve read that earlier dev posts (from Act 1 EA era) that said things like romances would be complicated/take time to get to. meanwhile Gale wants to get down immediately after a day or two (not hating just kinda wild how practicing magic went ). maybe bareback fucking isn’t “romance” or maybe it is? if i compare it to idk like mass effect, those relationships took a lot of time to get anywhere near territory (and those games didn’t have a penis slider).

He has a short quest chain in act 2 and some dialogue about the events that caused the shadow curse. I can’t recall if he does anything in act 3.
