      It’s so annoying lol. I see absolutely no reason why I couldn’t have my Medicare card in the wallet app

      They do it France too and pretend it’s more secure that everything that has been done before, even software that only store encrypted data locally.

    Delaware has the same setup, unfortunately the law still requires you to present a physical copy of your license when requested. So, the app is kind of pointless…

    Why do companies(states) insist on releasing their obviously inferior takes on things that are already on our phones and work well.

    This will probably go the way of Apple Pay. Many companies insisting on using their version of mobile pay until they eventually cave because they finally realized how shit it is

    I just looked up the California wallet app for this and it has such low ratings.

      So that you’ll hand over your phone unlocked, so they can plug it into GrayKey real quick. Wallet support would leave your phone locked.
