In most rural and in a whole lot of suburban US towns the tap water is definitely worse for your health than plastic bottles. Before I installed a filter on my tap my water came out brown.

So will it be the micro plastics today or the heavy metals?

Would I rather choose the known health risk or the possible health risk?

I’ll take the possibility over the definitive.

You go ahead and give this a read and tell me if lead poisoning and Legionnaires’ disease seem better than microplastics without a current definitive health consequence

(not to mention micro plastics getting into your blood are basically inevitable at this point in the game.)
