Sounds like regular bad human tech support! We did it, AGI is here! /s

I recall all too well the stupid shit my friends and I thought were funny, so I give my kids the grace to enjoy their current stupid shit. Besides, I can kill it any time by fully embracing it. Nothing kiils coolness like parents/old people joining in.
Ah nice, I thought Classic Shell was dead as of several years ago. Did someone fork it and revive it?
It looks like what they offer isn’t a shell per se, but a playbook. Which is fine and all, probably far more viable than a true shell replacement due to Microsoft’s shitty shenanigans. If I still used Windows for a personal machine I’d be all about this. I’m worried it would interfere with the corporate garbage I have to deal with.

This is my favorite comment so far.

I suppose nearly everything is more premium compared to bud or coors.
I didn’t think you could still get decent custom shells on Windows these days. What do you use?
What I do still have on my one Windows machine I need for a (staunchly annoying Windows only) company I do work for is a launcher program that I have been using for well over a decade. Super resource light and simple. I just don’t use the start menu at all.
This meme, especially the techno song/flash video was so freaking popular. I had a friend that would watch it dozens of times a day. I swear it was the original cause of him getting into drugs. Almost certainly had some underlying serious mental stuff going on.
I had that version and I was sure that I still had it, but of course I can’t find it. I’ll save your name and msg you if I find it.

Seriously, and it is even worse any time near Christmas. I, for one, welcome morons boycotting Costco.

Modelo / premium : Choose one

Well, at least there is some good news today.

The $15 plan used to only be 2GB, which was honestly still enough for people that only use mobile data sparingly.

The grappling hook was a common mod in the original QuakeWorld scene and was included in the official Quake II CTF game mod. I’m surprised it didn’t become a mainstay in games afterwards, it was so fun to use. Shogo: Mobile Armor Division had it built in and was one of the most fun FPS games I had ever played until cheaters took over.

Just imagine how big his eyes will bug out when that happens!

Anyone who objects can stick it into an inflation calculator and compare to “back in my day”
Well, a big part of the article is that you can’t just do that because the original formula was iffy even for the time when housing and insurance costs were not nearly as much of the average person’s expenses. That part of the article (well at least the original article this was based from https://www.yesigiveafig.com/p/part-1-my-life-is-a-lie) that was so interesting was that it was originally based on about 3x times the minimum food budget. Apparently that was just an easier number to be able to quantify at the time in the 60s and they just kept using it.

I don’t think the final release was “shit” per se, but I was super confused when I played it and expected cool features from the beta. The beta was also very beta and not all of the features were actually good, but I feel like they ran out of time/money/patience and just cut down a ton of stuff to ship it.

A classic. I loved how in the last phase you could make the right combination of nonsensical choices and end up with human and do really well. Not as well as my hyper-evolved Rhino-montser, but really well.

The 140k amount was for a family of four and including childcare for two children.
The Turbo programs (C, Pascal, Assembler, etc) were all great. QBasic was nothing compared to them, but it was included for free with Dos, so I can give it credit there at least.
