It is an answer. One that’s totally off topic. The previous comment was a little harsh but I’m quite tired of people making everything about politics.

I was hoping completely unrelated comments like these would disappear after the election but some people sure are persistent. Also if seeing the wrong candidate win is the worst feeling you can imagine then you should work on your personality a little bit because defining yourself solely by politics can’t be healthy.
I agree about the overlap but why generalize a whole group like this? Why needlessly antagonize people when something this important is happening?
If that’s how you choose to see it then sure. I don’t live in the US so I really couldn’t care less but if we had an election this important I probably wouldn’t antagonize people that could otherwise support my cause.
Pretty sure the bear thing is the reason why at least some young men voted like that. Generally hating on men seems so widely accepted to me that I don’t even blame anyone who decided to vote for Trump out of spite.
Generally you’re not wrong but when it comes to European honey bees (which are the most common for honey production) they are presumed extinct in the wild. They need to be treated multiple times throughout the year (and it’s increasing due to climate change). Also these bees have been imported to Americas where they are not native so controlling them is very important there.
No one is talking about starving the bees. Someone already pointed out that bees are territorial and not great for the local insect population. You can let bees spread but there are better ways to do it. Bees do work because they think they need to, the thing is you can help them and have leftover honey that they don’t need to use. You don’t even need to limit the to one colony.
But to be fair our bees are nowhere near any urban areas nor pesticides so it might be different elsewhere.
That’s not true, bees really do produce more than one colony needs. The thing is that when they have no more room to store honey some bees will take a large portion of it and leave to start a new colony which is bad for you as a beekeeper and other insect species. The way I see it you definitely should take the honey. Just leave some for the winter.
Agree with you there. It’s definitely good to oppose this kind of stuff but I don’t think this is switching-to-another-browser bad. At least not yet…
Personally I think people are overreacting. As far as I know you can turn everything off in the settings. People also complained about the privacy-preserving measurement being on by default but I’m pretty sure that was a bug because on a new install it gets disabled when you disable Firefox studies and other collection stuff.

I hate that platform. My account got blocked because I haven’t used it in a long time but was still receiving emails. I decided to delete it but I had to submit my ID. I wasn’t very happy about it but apparently they delete the data right after verifying your identity. Anyway, I submitted 2 requests and waited over 3 weeks and no one bothered to look at my case. I literally had to go through the privacy policy to find a contact for a data protection officer to write an email to. You can’t contact support or even unsubscribe from the emails without logging in first. Just terrible.
I do have an old phone that I plan to try this with it’s just that it’ll be at least a week before I get the phone in my hands as I don’t have it with me where I’m at. Also I’ll have to work on hiding the fact that it’s rooted since the BookWalker app won’t run if it is. I’m just trying to make my life easier, that’s all 😅
Unless I’m missing something deDRM does not support BookWalker
