No, that’s Engels, when he’s readable, Engels is always on the cover too.

He had a way of making simple concepts complicated, very sleep-inducing.

Oh man Plato’s Republic takes me back. So hard to get past the first ten pages. I had Plato’s Republic and Das Kapital next to my nightstand because I had insomnia. Put me right to sleep, my eyelids would get heavy after a few paragraphs every time. Edit: I had Infinite Jest for the same reason. I initially bought it to pretend to be smart, which is the only reason anyone has ever purchased Infinite Jest, but I kept it due to insomnia.

Yeah sorry I’m just used to people immediately jumping to defend this guy and make any negative comment about him illegal

I’m going to pretend you don’t know what I’m talking about.
I’m saying that for women, choosing between Liberal and far Right is basically like choosing between a guy who openly hates you and a guy who is sort of shitty and sarcastic to you and might secretly hate you.
There is no functional difference to women between the Left (or center-right I guess) and the Right in a lot of cases.
When Leftists talk about women “going against their interests,” they fail to see that there is no viable option which protects women’s interests, or at least, there is no option which actually protects all of their interests and makes their interests a priority.
Both sides claim to protect women’s interests when politically convenient to say so, and it does take some investigation to figure out what they mean when they make such a claim.

So did John Wayne Gacy, what’s your point?
Charlie Kirk’s comment about “some gun deaths being necessary” was in response to a comment about school shootings involving small children, wasn’t it? I don’t remember exactly, why don’t you look it up yourself?

Me too

AI is like human genitalia. I only like it when I’m in the mood for it, and I don’t want it shoved in my face at any other time.

Then use Waterfox.
I used to feel this way too. But, there are worse things to be.

A vague path and something to show for it means using a bunch of energy for something they’re not even really doing…?

I mean… yeah. It’s always beneficial for people not to know how much money one has… I can’t really imagine a situation where it wouldn’t be.

That makes sense.

If that’s the case, why don’t they pull the Renaissance artist scam and just take a bunch of money and swear they’re working on stuff? If they don’t have to prove anything, why use any energy at all?

So he’s just telling the kids that it’s working

Facebook app is basically just spyware.

Oh sorry, I meant to say it is unnecessary for you to humble or correct anyone, and if it ever becomes necessary, its still not your job. Edit: Probably should have said this to everyone in this thread though, not just you, sorry for making it out like you’re the only one doing this.

I didn’t say it was a good choice, not sure I made any kind of statement you could nitpick or impose judgement upon me for, and if I did, I edited it out because I predicted you being insufferable. “I think they’re mining bitcoin” is not the exact same statement as “bitcoin is good” or “AI is good.” I don’t actually mind either bitcoin or AI, I think like alcohol they’re fine in moderation, but that’s not what my post is about.
The only part that woke me up was the part where Marx uses the concept of publicly available free hookers to insult somebody’s wife. Edit: Oh shit, no, that’s the Manifesto, that was Engels probably.
