Yes, Niko is stylised as a cat (with whiskers notably detached from the nose and instead dubiously attached to the side of the head), but [insert pronoun here] is not roleplaying as a cat, and a furry would love being compared to a cat, unlike Niko seems to be (there’s more nuance to this).
Unless I completely misunderstood what you meant by “a furry” and you were just asking if Niko is a cat :)
Are kids that wear those panda hats furries too?

Oneshot@lemmy.zip•Do you guys think a Oneshot movie would work?English
5·18 days agoOne of the unique aspects of Oneshot is the interaction between Niko and the player, which quickly forms a bond and results in a memorable experience.
In movies you are an observer, and apart of some fringe cases, you never have any meaningful interactions - you usually just enjoy the ride, hands-off.
Despite all of that you can probably still make a good movie in Oneshot universe or with Niko&co., and if Niko would be the focus, then I would expect it to be set in a “dream world”, where there were no player interactions (IIRC).

9·21 days agoKnights and Merchants is as much a city builder as StarCraft is, which is to say, not at all.
Other than that, an interesting article.
