Also notice the lag on the homepage near the top especially. Feels jittery when scrolling.
I like the communities view, but maybe there should be a confirmation dialog when swiping to unsubscribe from a community? Just accidentally unsubscribed from one and have no idea which it was :/
What do you plan to make with them? My experience with ghost peppers was that they were so hot it was hard to use them in anything. And I like really spicy food.
I don’t have the interest/need for such a community. But I was just suggesting that as that would be the solution if someone is squatting on it on your local instance.
So why not create one on a different instance then?
Instagram has a following tab, you have to tap the logo at the top and switch it. It also reverts back to the algorithm frequently so have to constantly switch it around.
I moved over to lemm.ee when .world was loading really slow. Still here, no reason to go back really.

3 (4 if you count kbin). Beehaw (which took weeks to be approved) so moved to Lemmy world, which is now overloaded and slow so Lemm.ee which is snappy and fast.
Lemmy world seems really bogged at the moment. I’d suggest considering a smaller instance if you want snappy performance. I moved to lemm.ee for now and it’s a lot quicker.
I’m gonna guess that just being on a less busy server will make the biggest difference. I moved from lemmy world and lemm.ee is super fast even though I’m pretty sure both are across the ocean from me.
