Besides our history is starting to look worse than the Bell Riots. Just ask California governor. He may not have created a Sanctuary in San Fransisco but he is criminalizing homelessness.

I’m in my second half of life as I plan to live to be a minimum of 100 years old. Part of my plan, is to never retire from work. It made be an American thing but I don’t think retiring is for me. I like working even when I’m not crazy about the job but I’ve gone back to school to get a Master’s and just got a job more in line with my education. And I still have at least two more career changes. Working further into my field as a scientist and then probably end up teaching at the college level all the knowledge and wisdom I’ve gained in the field.

The best news I’ve had in the last few weeks is that someone thought I was at least 22 years younger than I am. I thanked them and told them I could be their parent. That totally freaked them out and they asked how is that I look and seem so much younger than I am.

My only explanation, I keep making friends regardless of that new friend’s age. I keep playing video games, and reading. I also just walk and have a cheerful attitude towards life. Believing in myself, and a firm desire to live to be older than 100 years of age with the same passion for life I have had since I was 13 years old.

Lastly, I don’t have a specific religion or belief in an afterlife so I’ve always intended to make the best of THIS life than worry about what happens when I’m gone.

How many would choose seat #3? I would.

Not that I condone any of this, but consider that the cultural disgust of marrying a girl under the age of 18 is a more recent and modern taboo. Back then, in rural United States, it wasn’t an issue at all. Heck as a Gen X kid whose parents were from the Silent Generation, my mother married her first husband when she was 16 and he was 22. She never thought it was an issue other than she regretted marrying anyone at the age. But her parents, church, and teachers didn’t think it was a problem.

It’s hard to believe because most people might say Elvis lived in modern society but he’s not. The 20th century was full of changes that we don’t really think about.

Where have they been? Trump has never focused on actual policy. Now they want him to do something that he’s never before been able to do? Weird.

Oh, man, the next time my neighbor goes shooting off their mouth about how two men/women can’t be good parents and the new childless BS I’m gonna look at him and drop this on him.

I shocked that such a good Christian would allow his children to play Pokemon. I was told by a pastor a few years back that Pokemon was evil, Satan’s cards, etc., and that no good Christian family would allow their children to play it.

I guess he’s a good political chameleon ! I mean he changed his stance on Trump.

You think if Trump win Canada will be spared?

I think not because now the Foundation knows they have holes to plug and can continue to plot in secret.

The peril isn’t to Democrats the peril is to the United States no longer being a democracy nor a nation. Trump and MAGA want the states to decide everything for themselves and take us back to a Confederacy of States.

It’s this entire thinking of party over country BS that we’ve watched for the last 20 years from the GOP. Now the Democrats want to so the same thing. This Senator is just being another agent of chaos and not standing behind the majority of voters that kept Biden as the nominee. Voting is over, the conventions are just side-shows to generate more funding for campaigns to affirm the voters wishes.

The time to discuss alternatives was the primaries they are over. The majority of democrats chose Biden and he is their nominee. Going back and changing out candidates after the primaries, or Biden resigning from his campaign will actually hand Trump a victory period.

We did this back in 1968 when the democratic nominee dropped out he lost. He was also polling higher than Nixon and was probably going to be him but then the dems changed their nominee and history took place.

This is it. We either stand by our democracy and push to make it better through voting in better leaders or we let Trump and MAGA take over. I’m not crazy that Biden is the person that democracy rests on; so it goes.

Ugh, why claim responsibility. They should have just scraped as much as they could for as long as they could and then just dump to the internet and every news organization.

But never claim responsibility. Be a dystopia anti-hero - never tell just get the work done to bring down fascists.

So, more propaganda that Biden is a Communist? Really, that’s how you make that point and comparison? Tired of the Dems are Communist trope when it’s not true. Sure Biden is for the worker - THE WORKER IS THE MIDDLE CLASS!!

Which by Trump has been shrunk, and not in a good way, making it harder for middle class workers. Biden, whether I agree with him or not, clearly thinks MORE about the middle class and worker protections than Trump ever has done.

It was only relevant when the corps didn’t have it.

So, we can do what a bunch of aliens did to O’Brien when they tried, convicted and incarcerated him for 20 years and it was 20 minutes in real time.
