It’s the feeling a person gets when discovering a foreign country, a new culture. It’s usually used in a very positive manner.

25·6 months agoOn the other hand tomatoes and potatoes are the same family. You can even graft a tomato plant on top of a potato plant.
I don’t think so, I will definitely go back and do not wish to move permanently in another instance.
As others have said I think this instance has a strong base of dedicated users, it’s a “specialized” instance that has no equivalent.

6·6 months agoIt’s the opposite for me. I don’t want the effect of alcohol, I just want a nice drink to complement my meal and is hard to find something that in neither sugary or alcoholic.

A mockumentary made by student filmmakers. The plot is that they are doing a documentary following the life of a serial killer.
The dark humor of this movie is incredibly disturbing but it’s really a movie to watch.

I was looking in a mountainous area so the amount of sun a house gets in winter can vary quite a lot. Even a few hundred meters can make a huge difference in some cases.

7·6 months agoAlso, in lot of cases you don’t even need it. When you live in the city center like that you can just walk 2 min to pick up your order.
I went to the casino with friends around 12 years ago. We agreed to get a few coins (around 20€ or so) at the beginning, play them and leave once we run out of coins.
Everyone lost their coins except me, I left with like 27€. It was the only time I went to the casino.
So now I can never go in a casino again ! I have a perfect record, I’ve always won against the casino and I intend to keep it this way my whole life.
