I guess it depends on what you want to experience. There are merits to rewatching a series you really enjoyed knowing the outcome. You may pick up on themes/ideas you didn’t notice the first time. There is the chance that altough the major plot points will be the same, how we get there may be different due to it being a more faithful adaptation.

If you enjoy the snapping between serious and comedy, I’d recommend Gintama if you’ve not watched it. It does an amazing job of mixing all the major genres
