You didn’t bring it up but you’re the one who implied it was a contest of who suffers more. Your comment was worded very much in a way that made it sound like they had it worse than writers, when the original commenter was just stating that all creatives experience burnout (not a comparison)

Is Heroic still safe?
Like, I agree with you about open source burnout, but it feels weird to make it a dick measuring contest with writers, as a writer myself.

PC Gaming@lemmy.ca•The Witcher IV to feature NVIDIA RTX Mega Geometry - VideoCardz.comEnglish
2·1 day agoI honestly don’t get the overwhelming praise for Witcher 3. It was, like, good overall but I had a lot of nits to pick with it that everyone seems to overlook.
I don’t think OP is getting touchéd at all, actually.

Not very long. This looks freeeeesh. But when it’s a really well done tattoo, it’ll still look good for a long, long time worth proper care. It just won’t look this crisp very long. Like a week, essentially once the skin heals it will already start to look different.
Thanks for sharing! I don’t have a ton of experience with MediaWiki and cannot figure out how to go to a random page lol
If you wouldn’t mind sharing, I’d love to take a gander at what you’re cooking up!

2·7 days agoEnded up having to change my default assistant, then change it back to Homeassistant for it to recognize that it was the default. There’s already a bug report for it as well.

4·7 days agoI used their advice from the blog to make an automation that turns it on when I’m home, and off when I’m away.
One downside I found of Continuwuity was no SMTP setup for password resets, or new user registration.

7·7 days agoWake word on mobile is very exciting, but it doesn’t seem to work on my device. It won’t even let me turn it on, and says that HA is not my default assistant even though it definitely is.
