Russia is doing technology transfers and other bilateral arrangements with North Korea in exchange for which Korea is deploying their special forces into the war from which they will gain modern combat experience… you know, that’s what allies do.

Anyway, we put Ukraine into some weird situation. Russian allies are clearly acting as such while we are being a fair weather friend.
