I’m keeping reddark open on another monitor as a reminder to stay away
I run Nextcloud for myself and extended family plus a wireguard vpn, airsonic music streaming, calibre web for books and pi-hole for killing ads.
EDIT - pi-hole and wireguard are running on a raspberry pi and the rest on an Ubuntu NUC.

mlem is under heavy development. Chances are the issue you encountered has been fixed in an update
Looking good on my phone but no ipad support yet. Looks awful in zoom mode
Does mlem have a community in the fediverse?
Sadly no and they don’t need to. Users of old.reddit and 3rd party apps are a small minority of reddit users so they won’t notice a major drop in traffic.
On the other hand, the percentage of contributors (those who make posts and/or actively comment) who fall into that category is higher. Losing those people will make Reddit a lonely place but that will be a gradual thing.
Not the OP but I would appreciate it. I got stuck with building the lemmy image. Not sure why they don’t just use a published image
EDIT - found the problem - the docker compose file has the build options enabled for the lemmy image and the published image commented out
EDIT 2 - latest issue - 404: FetchError: request to http://lemmy:8536/api/v3/site? failed, reason: getaddrinfo EAI_AGAIN lemmy
