I thought the same and it seemed quite obvious to me. It’s absolutely pathetic. But it seems they can’t even do that correctly.

r/intp. Also miss the active python and data analysis subs, I know there are python communities here but they seem quiet.
That reminds me, that have bean work to do.
I’m really enjoying Liftoff, it seems the most complete to me. I like jeroba but the laggy/choppy scrolling drives me crazy.
Why do I get no posts if I choose Everything > subscribed?

Redmi note 8 with ArrowOS at the moment. I was using lineage on this and the note 5 before the 8 but there was a significant bug so landed on Arrow.
Presumably the same way you find other apps that don’t have the name of the protocol in the name? “Lemmy liftoff” and it’s the first result for me.
You could say that Lemmy is a confusing name becausse it’s the name of a very famous singer.
I think that would be great. However, the issue for me isn’t so much finding it as it being really annoying to actually subscribe.
This has been the worst part of my experience using Lemmy, it’s very frustrating. I hope there is a solution because everything else has been great but making this easier is critical to adoption.
It’s your search engine that is the problem, not your browser.
Pretty much the same thing for me. I’m finding it very annoying to be taken to the instance, there must be an easier way.
Take it as slowly as you need, there’s a lot to learn and it can either be daunting or easy to rush ahead without fully understanding.
Practice as much as you can. Videos and tutorials are good for gaining an understanding but nothing beats solving actual problems and writing code. Try to do a little everyday and more when you can.
