DPI is kind of like a strike zone in MLB… as long as the referees make it clear how they are going to call it and call it the same way for both teams.
Unfortunately, MLB doesn’t do this well ever and lately NFL referees are struggling with this as well.
One thing I have noticed is that the Eagles do extend alot of drives using the tush push even if they are in their own side of the field.
Hard to quantify how big of an advantage that really is but I do recall one drive where they used it multiple times to just keep the drive alive and score with it.
Yep… because all of those fans in that section are conspiring together to only post clips debunking the player’s accusation and they all agreed to destroy any video evidence of the alleged threats.
C’mon. Use some common sense. Someone would have posted video of the threats being made just for the social media attention alone that clip would receive.
You honestly don’t think that if fans were truly making threats against a player’s family, that at least one video would have surfaced by now corroborating the player’s claim. Instead all we have are videos disputing the player’s accusation. I wonder why that is.
97.5 was talking about the video posted by a fan that was sitting two seats away which you could clearly hear what was being said during the alleged exchanges. No threatening remarks as many suspected.

There was no threatening of family members. Hopefully someone will post the new footage soon.
Source… local sports radio was talking about the new footage this morning showing Lawson was lying. They didn’t even think the whole incident was that big of a deal, just questioned why athletes engage with hecklers, and dispelled the accusations of threatening remarks.

If you fair catch a punt right before the half, offense can choose to “free kick” . It’s basically a kick off where you get 3 points if you can split the up rights.
I don’t see Harris hiring a high profile coach for next season… so even if he did let Rivera go it will be to replace him with an internal candidate like Bienemy or another type of stop gap solution before luring away a huge name to coach the Commanders in 2025 or 2026.
I know it may be painful… but the Commanders will 100% still be in tank mode for 2024. Don’t be shocked if a few young up and coming players are traded in the off season for even more draft capital. Harris is going to want that number one or number two overall pick.

Last season…. Eagles had an easy schedule and the narrative was that they didn’t face anyone good.
This season… Eagles have an extremely tough schedule and have already beaten the 7-3 Chiefs, 7-3 Dolphins and the 7-3 Cowboys all within this past month and the narrative is that they are just lucky wins.
