Idk mine works without any problems like that. In the Home app, I have Recognize my Voice & Personal Requests turned On. As long as my phone is on the same WiFi network, it works perfectly.

Check Settings > General > Software Update… update if there’s one available. 17.1.1 is current.

At the moment there aren’t multi press functions with the action button. Best we can do with it will be with the Shortcuts app, making a shortcut based on focus mode or device orientation (using free app Actions) r/shortcuts

Also, toggling vibrate is not an available action within Shortcuts atm

Are you on latest, 17.1.1? If not, upgrade. If still having the problem, try turning your phone off and back on.

I never used Apple leather, but from reading other threads, it’s going to be hard to find something so similar. For leather, check out Nomad. They have a leather back with TPU sides to make it more protective from falls. Andar is another popular brand, full leather.

To edit, tap and hold on your Lock Screen. Then tap Customize at the bottom, select Lock Screen. There, you can change size/font/color of the time as well as change the widgets that might appear above and below the time

Try Reachability to reach the top of your screen easier

You can try this… Settings > App Store > at the bottom Personalized Recommendations > Clear app usage data. It may help… it may not, but might be worth a try. Maybe after u clear it, do a couple searches for the type of apps you’d rather see

You can try clearing your cache aka browsing history & data

I don’t think so. Personally I would just get the kid their own tablet off Amazon. Can download shows/movies if you have Netflix or Prime video. Or use your phones hot spot.
