As far as I know recycling batteries is generally a pretty expensive process so mandating it may be a pretty hard sell. The US government should definitely be investing money into improving those processes though.

I wish I could say “My next car will be an EV” but there are still 0 charging stations within 50 miles of me, so I guess I still have to wait

I used to use Infinity, but with the api changes I use Jerboa now (just for a different service :p)
