And people here are pissed at the attempt to build it. Unfortunately the mayor and governor are on opposite sides of this.
Linux is a tool, nothing more, nothing less. I manage Linux and Windows servers, they’re both just tools. While this guy is a dipshit, I do wonder about people that worship at the alter of Linus.

1·1 month agoThat’s wealth inequality, a very different terrible system. You can change your economic reality, but you don’t escape the social inference of the caste system
Most folks can’t take this perspective. Despite everything, we’re still in probably the most peaceful time in history. We have the best medicines ever, most caste systems have been done away with in the west. Fucking helicopters.
Same, the city gets labeled a hellscape from other parts of the state, when really it’s just a bunch of failed country musicians
It’s very satisfying and pays well, but there is a ton to learn.
