Lower standards are easier to maintain. If a show appeals to viewers with low expectations, it can retain those viewers for longer. Example: The Big Bang Theory.

Maybe we just need stronger spacecraft. I look forward to a future where every trip to space goes through the trash zone where you hear the continuous pattering of small satellites smashing against the hull.
Well I’m gonna buy tickets to every episode
Is it necessary though? Microsoft have already been campaigning pretty hard to get people to switch to Linux. Telling people their perfectly good PCs won’t work anymore because the operating system is expiring, and they can’t even “upgrade” to Windows 11 is a pretty powerful message.
I used to think that if I could have a superpower I’d like to be able to take a big rancid shit at will, but open up a portal so it would arrive in the pants of a person of my choosing. But these days, what’s the point? Most world leaders could be absolutely destroyed by a well timed beer dump, but Trump wouldn’t even notice anything unusual.
I can hear slightly higher frequencies than most, or at least I used to be able to. Back when TVs used cathode ray tubes I’d have problems with the small portable TVs because they would emit an annoying high pitched tone. Even high pitched tones unintentionally mixed into records. The world is designed for people with typical senses.
Well that would just fall under the general category of DEI marriage. The only true marriage is between two white men, but not in a gay way obviously.
“Hi, I’m Manifish_Destiny speaking to you from beyond the grave. I’m happy to say that even though I had some skepticism of AI avatars and even put something about that in my will, I just didn’t understand its potential to embody my true self. But now I do, so you can disregard all that. Come to think of it, you can disregard the rest of the will as well, I’ve got some radical new ideas…”
It amazes me that Catholics will ride along with that bandwagon. Like when they get that Christian Nation they want, when freedom of religion is ditched in favour of state endorsed religion, and all that remains is to decide whether it’s going to be a Protestant Nation or a Catholic Nation, do they actually think it’s going to go their way?
Any answer is correct as long as you don’t pick it at random. I’d choose (a) because I’m too lazy to read the other options
Yeah option b should definitely be 0% for added fuckery
The content in the movies is made up.
You’ve gone too far. Take that back right now.
Those 3 way plug outlets are pretty cool
Oh don’t worry about that, just plug in your 110V appliances and watch them run twice as fast
Extroverted showy types are also not showing you who they are underneath.
It’s great if you want to do a kids party invitation or something like that
I set up my pc as dual boot a few weeks back. Opened up windows yesterday, for the first time in a while, to export a few settings from thunderbird. Took about half an hour to get it started. Felt like popping round to the house of an abusive ex to pick up the last of my things.
If you’re inciting violent civil insurgency, you’re a criminal in the present. If successful, you may be accepted, even celebrated, retrospectively. It’s not a question of right or wrong, but of who is currently in power.
I suspect it may inevitably end up like Reddit. The problem IMO is comment visibility. Even if you’re not trying to farm karma, people like their comments to be visible. Everyone wants to have their voice heard. And it seems that short “zinger” comments and jokes are the most effective way to make that happen. The current community does support high effort quality comments well, but I think as we get diluted with more users it’s a slippery slide. I hope I’m wrong.
ikr? It’s like some people don’t even recognize a tetrahedron
