Some good suggestions here already. Adding one more - bring water onto the plane. Stay hydrated. As a bonus, it gives you an excuse to go for frequent walks to the bathroom.

I played them all, they’re great games with that old school AA feel. My personal ranking would be 1>2>Genesis>3.

I’ve been watching Y: The Last Man and started out really digging it, but now that I’m nearing the end (Ep8) it’s starting to drag a little. Some interesting things being set up though so hoping it sticks the landing.

No kids are perfectly behaved. We had a great time all over the Asian countries we visited, more accommodating than North America in some ways.

You will definitely get culture shock when visiting Japan if you’re never been to Asia though, just for many others reasons.

As a counter point, I had a great time in Osaka with my young daughter this summer. I’m not saying the previous poster was wrong, just that my experience was apparently very different.

Currently reading through Spider Island. It’s not bad IMO, but seems like a lot of filler.

Such a cool tool. I didn’t know so many Linux-native engines existed. Can’t wait for the Dark Forces one to be added.
