That still doesn’t answer why Sutekh couldn’t just see her mother like all the other 7 billion humans on earth. Why her and not the other 6.9 billion people out there? It being random is just bad storytelling imo

I liked it but I’m finding the answers to a lot of the mysteries unsatisfying and I feel somewhat deflated. Why the snow? Why the song? Doesn’t make sense if her parents are just humans
Let us know where you end up starting!
depending on jurisdiction they can’t just arbitrarily raise rates
This goes so hard I love it
Plenty of US shows go live on streamers at midnight for one of the coasts, seems like they’re just treating Doctor Who the same but for the UK?
Precisely! I try to comment and post partly for the purpose of generating activity
Assuming bring grounded means the same thing for most people as it meant for me, the only thing this kid could have done with his free time while grounded would be chores or reading. Don’t really blame him for lashing out, it always felt like a prison sentence when I’d get grounded.
Reddit didn’t always have that, and Lemmy I think is in many ways meant to resemble Reddit before the introduction of user-focused features. Kbin has the option though.
Hope that anyone who was using it and not switching to lemmy is encouraged to do so now.
I looooove the start of the Marvel run with the comics set between 4 + 5, setting up the OT group as a team and detailing all the fucked up shit Vader got into.
Dang. I wasn’t sure if you’d answer, i commented also in part to contribute to community interactions 😅
Huh? Everything I’d heard was theat it was P+ that was dissatisfied for w/e reason. I have to imagine if Nick had been the primary one calling the shots they’d at least have wanted to keep it for their lineup
No specific ideas, but I am hopeful that RTD will hit it out of the park, and do it naturally. The Torchwood and Sarah Jane Adventures era of DW is still my favorite, and it did exactly what everyone expects and wants from shared universe storytelling before it was “in”.
If this is from an actual comic what is it?
I’d love to find one, I have never played and it looks like I could use its ruleset for my world’s ancient history
Couldn’t we just point out that when it happens and just remove the bad faith votes? Direct democracy often encounters issues because the community isn’t united in the goal of consensus-based decision making. Ideally, we should encourage this instance to shift towards consensus-making instead of simple y/n votes that might still result in large amounts of users feeling ignored or unwelcome.
The conversation should take place with the goal in mind being to reach decisions for the community that most people can abide by - this is why I’ve been supportive of making voting exclusive to accounts on this instance.
They’re probably speaking broadly since this won’t be the last time we vote.
It’s a good amount of time in my view, but I also think that without some active means of “pushing” the vote to people who aren’t actively checking The Agora and who might not stumble across it in their subscriptions or local feed, we risk many people not having a chance to give their input.

that SNW clip didn’t rub me the right way. This video gets into why…
