Lions are good. Really good.
Bears are bad. Sometimes really bad.
I think some are overthinking this. Lions win and a blowout wouldn’t surprise me whatsoever.
These threads conveniently pop up every time a highly touted QB prospect has a bad game.
Pretty funny.
It will be funny if some of these fans actually get their way, then 2-3 years from now they’ll be whining about not having a QB.
If we get pick 1 or 2 then we’re taking a QB. All these other scenarios with those picks aren’t even worth discussing.
I think it’s an overly negative take. It’s kinda hard to separate the talent from the lack of development from this coaching staff too. I guess we’ll see with a new staff in place next season, but I don’t believe this is fair from Jeremiah.
Where do they have Bowers being drafted?
I would be underwhelmed by this outcome, personally. I like Caleb more than most Bears fans it seems, so I have no issue with that pick. But I don’t believe there’s an edge rusher in this draft worth a top 10 pick. It feels like a missed opportunity to not support your new QB in a draft with some of the best Offensive talent in recent years. Bowers, Nabers, Coleman, Odunze would all make more sense, ideally in a trade down scenario for some of them. I wouldn’t hesitate to take Bowers 5th though, if that’s where we end up.
