  • The fact there are collateral damage, yes, the fact that is intentional annihilation, nope.

You want to see what is it for a country loosing its infrastructure during a war? google: “how much infrastructure was destroyed in Iraqi, Syria, Afghanistan ?” And “how”.
It is not with 2 mortars blowing up a kitchen and fighting on the field.

Ukrainians still have broadband internet, can shop on Amazon and our officials can travel freely in Kiev.
Even Sean Penn could deliver in hand his golden toy to a country leader who should be in a bunker instead of making photo-shoot if he or Kiev was really threatened!

    Freaking joke!

  • What’s the point of flooding a region by destroying your “assets” when you could mass bombing like a deaf these villages.
After all, the west sells the war like an hegemonic move with mass slaughtering traits. Why Russia is not so heavy on using aviation, then?
US were using tomahawks on Syria for less than that.

If destruction and high toll number (aka ethnic cleansing) was the goal, they won’t deliver like a grocery shop.

Flatpak is kind of bringing the BSD mindset of base system versus end-user apps to Linux.

What must one not read. The reason is that FreeBSD develop and maintains the whole base system: kernel + system related frontend and because it’s a clean architecture. For the isolation they had jails before containers was a thing.

Flatpak was not about sandboxing, this aspect is quite recent. It is a response to how bad the CI-pseudoCD was for Gnome and to build/deploy apps based on gnome-stack easily. For proprietary product, I still have to see it a proprietary product not available outside flatpak…

Don’t get me wrong, it’s good that Flatpak tackle the sandboxing question that was not what was sold previously. Also, I use official repos and mainly FOSS. Flatpak won’t prevent a supplychain attack. So my trust remains the main repos.

  • People like to be indirect with lgtbq+

I would say people think that there are only saints in LGBTQ* community, there could not have assholes or some having bad soft skills. It’s known there are no introverts in the community, noooo. For the other, I could name two asshole LGBT* person: Sarah Sharp (FOSS) and Ellen DeGeneres (People).

So, misunderstands are certainly possible, but often in my experience

In my experience, I have seen more unjustified cancelling than real one and you are, here, doing the same. In no way /u/X77 was saying what you accuse him of.

No longer than yesterday, a person from Beehaw posted an illustration of a rainbow road roller truck driving over people tagged family, catholic, etc… not much of an issue, for you? Or maybe it is but this would have been a ban to MARS not just a “oh, this is not totally right or it is no meant to be blah-blah-blah…”.

Well, when you cut off on the nuance, keep a black and white mindset, it’s problematic. Remember the : “You are with us or against us”
