This game worked as good as it could until they went out of their way to block Linux. All they had to do was leave it alone and let proton do its thing.

In an ideal world, I agree 100%. Most of the time I can set my cruise to the speed limit and let the reckless people pass.

I see what they went for but yea…

It bothers me when people don’t go the speed limit. Faster or slower, the speed limit is to set a consistent speed. Consistent means predictable which results in safer conditions. This would result in less traffic and less fuel consumption.

However, following the flow of traffic is safer than trying to go the speed limit. If you’re the one person going 20 units per hour slower than everyone, you are the hazard.

I started with a fancy electric one. A power surge broke something and it heated up to the point where it was extremely hot to the touch. The company wouldn’t warranty it because I had it for barely over a year.

I went with non powered one next and the difference is unnoticeable.

I recently had this discussion and we came up with democrats are silent republicans. They support this behavior via acquiescence.

They should have their own instance that isn’t federated until Lemmy adds the ability to not post to all. Until then, expect anyone and everyone to reply.

Out of respect, I will not be replying to anyone. I said what I said. Reddit had the same problem, but they had an option for subreddits to not post to /all. Until Lemmy includes this option, expect anyone to reply or move to a defederated instance in the interim. I would wager most people who read a post on all do not read the rules of the community or the community they are replying to.

Your inaction is supporting them. That’s what they want.

If you work for them and are against this in anyway, you support them by continuing to work for them. Things won’t get better until people grow up and realize the corporations are not on their side.

Fair enough. I believe college education stopped being a requirement and more of a hindrance around 2010. The pay didn’t keep up with the loans and education requirements. Nepotism is now the best way to get a high paying job.

A typical doorbell is wired as such:

Wirenut one wire from the transformer to one wire to the doorbell. It doesn’t matter which. Wire the remaining transformer wire to the center screw on the chime (labeled transformer). Wire the remaining doorbell wire to the right screw on the chime (front door).

If you have a ring doorbell, you may need to replace the transformer with a 24v one. The directions should tell you.

NMS is boring. I’m trying hard to like it but nothing you do feels meaningful. You get handed anything you want. Fly through a few systems and heres a free freighter. Set up a mining outpost and money means nothing anymore. Watch a twitch stream and get s+ ships for free. Nothing feels rewarding because it’s all handed to you.

NMS is a mile wide and an inch deep. Nothing you do feels like it has meaning, the story is meh, the gathering feels like it’s a placeholder, ships are only collected for looks, the graphics are ok.

This isn’t a good comparison.

What gets me are how many people don’t lock their doors in public.
