I was one of the people that thought Rosen would at least be a steady starter. I thought he showed a lot of potential at UCLA. I compared him to a Joe Flacco type QB if I remember correctly.

I eagerly await my comment on the draft thread saying that Zach Wilson will be a bust to be analyzed in the future.

If Jayden Daniels goes to a team with a halfway decent O-Line and a top WR I think he can be the best QB in the draft, better than Williams and Maye.

Minnesota maybe? Depending on how the season pans out. I can see Daniels going to the mid round between picks 10-20 depending on draft order, as this years draft is very WR and skill position heavy. I could see a run on WR occurring around picks 7-10 which ends up pushing Daniels back.

I’ve never quite understood people who use Super Bowl/championship wins as criteria for the HOF in both football and other sports.

What you do is essentially condemn any player who didn’t win a Super Bowl because of a variety of factors that very well might have been out of their control. If a good player is stuck on a really bad team, why hold them off the ballot because “they didn’t win anything”? Football especially is a team sport where there is heavy emphasis on the team aspect.

Take Philip Rivers, I firmly believe he deserves the HOF. Nothing about the numbers he put up says he shouldn’t be. Is it really Rivers’s fault he had Marty Schottenheimer as coach? A guy notorious for being unable to win the big game? Or Mike McCoy? Or Anthony Lynn? Despite what the Patriots did during this time, people should remember that getting to the Super Bowl is hard, let alone winning it.

And that argument cuts both ways I think. Joe Thomas is in the hall of fame? Okay but what did he win? He didn’t play a single down his entire career in the playoffs. But he has a ton of all pros so it’s fine. Okay, so that would mean unless you are literally the best player in the entire country at your position year after year, if you don’t win anything that disqualifies you from the HOF? That’s some pretty backwards logic if you ask me.

This Christmas I was going to buy the 15 inch Air with 16GB of RAM and the 1 TB of storage. I’m trading in my current M1 Air so it should be about $500 in trade in.

But now I’m going to have to completely rethink what I buy. The total for the Air as specified above is $1,899. But the 14 inch M3 MBP with the same specs is $1,999. THEN the base M3 Pro MBP is also $1,999 but only has 512 GB of storage but I can get the 1 TB and it would only be $200 more. This laptop is going to be the laptop that gets me through the next 4 years of college and beyond, so I have to figure out what the hell I’m going to get.

Thank god I have another 2 months before I decide.
