I thought food is way cheaper in the US but considering the taxes and tip, the prices seems similar to Europe.

What type of cake are we talking here? Industrial or home baked? Also what size? I am talking about a cake of 6 portion of around 200g.

I was raised poor so even now that I can afford it, I feel something forbidding me from buying cake. That and knowing that I gain weight very easily and it takes me lots of hours to get raid of it.

I was watching the show Good Times about the struggle of poor black family. But after some episodes I felt it wasn’t realistic and the family isn’t really poor.

Imagine buying 14TB and find out that it is 12TB instead.

People always says AI do create only variations but many successful TV shows are variations. I started watching sitcoms from the 70s and many things were copied/adapted in recent shows.

C’est comme pour tout, il y a bien des lois mais personne pour les faire respecter.

Le truc absurde c’est qu’on ne les régularise pas mais on ne fait rien contre ces entreprises qui les emploient illégalement.

J’ai l’impression qu’on ne veut rien faire car on veut continuer à exploiter ces personnes et avoir une main d’œuvre pas cher.

Un truc que je ne comprends pas, les entreprises ne peuvent pas employer quelqu’un sans papier. Alors on parle de qui ici ?

Yes I know but the French gouvernement passed many laws not in favor of employees. There were strikes for months but the gouvernement didn’t listen and police was beating people.

Now an employer can fire you because of race / sexual orientation… Etc. You can win if you went into trial but the employer may pay just few hundreds euros because there is a limit that caps how much the employer will pay.

I know that but the gouvernement could passes law and unions couldn’t do nothing about it (that’s what happen when a gouvernement uses force instead of dialogue). In the recent years the French gouvernement passed many laws that weakened employees rights. Do you know that if you go into court against your employer and you win, you will just get few hundred euros? It won’t ever cover for lawyer expenses. That’s because a law was to max the amount you can and it is very low.

I am afraid that he already bought some politicians. Did you see how he was welcomed by French government?

The majority of servers there are shipped from the US and shipping for me is triple the prices.

That’s what I am afraid of, some people told me that you end up having issues when you fill it up, so few years after if you buy an HDD a year.

I don’t understand why some says they don’t support HDD of more than 16TB.

I only have USB 2 but it is OK for my need right now.
