Just because people’s memories change about what companies belong where, doesn’t mean Nestle KitKat and L’Oreal were not American companies, and are deeply associated with American culture.

what will convince you that just because a name is French, does not make it a French cosmetics company, and that Kitkat has always been associated with American culture and American childhood, not Swiss culture and Swiss childhood memories?
